Instant Pot Mongolian Beef experiment

My husband’s favorite Asian dish is by far…..Mongolian Beef.  After I had successfully cooked Beef & Broccoli in the Instant Pot, we knew that I should give Mongolian Beef a try.

I used the recipe from the Sweet and Savory Meals website:

I like her suggestion of tossing the meat in 1 TBSP of cornstarch before sauteing the meat.  Today I used a 1 lb of chuck that I had on hand, in order to test the recipe and make a small batch.  I also added some hoisin sauce that I had on hand.


Absolutely wonderful – tender, rich of Asian flavor.  The only thing I would change is the amount of soy sauce.  I might reduce it to 1/4 cup next time; but that observation might be due to the fact that I was eating/testing the meat/sauce mixture without any rice.  (It was 9am in the morning)
